Well-maintained greens, wide tree-lined fairways, and water features across the course, supported by modern irrigation to help deliver good golf all year round. A relaxed, welcoming club just minutes from Ballarat CBD.

Designed by Peter Thompson and Bob Shearer

Two of Australia’s most respected course architects shaped the layout at Midlands. The course mixes open fairways with tighter tree-lined holes, and water comes into play across seven of the eighteen. Greens are elevated with enough undulation to keep your approach shots honest. There’s also a Par 3 course using the same fairways with shorter tee markers, a great option for newer players or a quicker round.

Warm Up and Work on Your Game

Practice areas on site for every part of your game.

Whether you’re loosening up before a round or putting in a focused session, the facilities are here when you are. The driving range is located on the 13th tee and open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons — buckets available from the pro shop in small, medium and large. When you’re ready to dial in the short game, the open practice putting green lets you work on your speed and reads before heading out, and the dedicated chipping area is there to sharpen things up around the greens. From your first swing on the range to your last chip before you tee off, everything you need is right here.

Driving Range

Located on the 13th tee, open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Buckets available from the pro shop in three sizes.

Putting Greens

Open practice green to work on your speed and reads before heading out.

150m CHIPPING Range

Open 7 days a week. Grass or synthetic carpet to hit from. Located east of the main carpark perfect for irons and chipper clubs. Buckets available from the Proshop in 3 sizes.
