The Club’s match committee schedules the Club championships to take place throughout the bowling season, usually commencing mid-November with an all-members gala day, and reaching conclusions mid-February. Midlands is one of over 1,800 affiliated clubs, part of a national network of 600,000+ participants. BA is affiliated with World Bowls and Commonwealth Games Australia (lawn bowls is a core Commonwealth Games sport) and runs major tournaments like the Australian Open and Bowls Premier League.
